Meet Harley/Buddy 14038. He just stumbled upon someone’s yard. His owner was never found.

Appearance: Harley/Buddy is a nice red golden in color.  He was a slim 70 lbs. when he was rescued; he now weighs a healthy 80 lbs.

Health and Age: Harley is thought to be about 8 to 10 years old.  He acts young and still has plenty of spunk and spring in his step.  He is up to date on vaccines, heart worm negative and has been neutered and micro-chipped.  He does seem to have a little arthritis in his back, and takes Dasuquin daily for joint management.  He has a few skin issues, but is receiving medicated baths which is really making a difference.

Habits and Training: Harley follows his foster mom closely.  He loves attention and rubbing.  He knows basic commands, is house and leash trained, enjoys riding in the car and boat, and loves his morning and afternoon walks.

Children and Other Animals: Harley gets along well with adults, children and other animals.  Initially, with the first foster family, there was an issue with their older cat, but it was determined that it was more of a food issue than a cat issue.  At his foster home, there are cats next door and he doesn’t give them the time of day.

Overall: Harley would be a good fit for any family.  He is very loving and giving.
