15007 Tux

Young - Male
Adopted Medium House trainedKnows Basic Commands

Meet Tux 15007. He was picked up as a stray in south Georgia by animal control.

Appearance: Tux is a Flat Coat Retriever mix.  They have also been called a black Golden Retriever but, they are two very different breeds. A Flat Coats temperament is very similar to that of a Golden.

Health: Tux is under two years old, weights 55 pounds, neutered, up to date on vaccines, micro-chipped, and heart worm positive. He has already started treatment for this.

Habits and Training: Tux is a typical young goofy dog. He is a very well behaved dog and knows a few commands such as “Sit, Stay & Come.”  He will even sit for his food bowl to be put down. He does need training on the leash which he has started on.

Children and Other Animals:  Tux is good around other dogs and very gentle with children.  He has a strong small prey drive which results in him chasing cats.

Overall: An home with an active lifestyle and no cats would be best for Tux.

If you would like to be considered as Tux’s new “Forever Family” make sure to fill out the online adoption form and mention him by name.
