Meet Dan 15019. His owner surrendered him to ECGRR.
Appearance: Dan’s coat is shiny, soft and light reddish gold in color.
Health: Dan came into the rescue weighting only 41 pounds! He has now put on 20 pounds and is up to date on vaccines, micro-chipped, neutered and 7 years old.
Habits and Training: Dan is house trained and like most golden’s he will follow you around the house. He enjoys being indoors with people. He is not good on a leash but the fosters are working on that.
He is becoming happily verbal, especially around meal time, to let you know he’s excited about eating.
Children and Other Animals: Dan gets along with the other pets, including cats, in his foster home. He can be shy around strange people – young or old. He does get along great with the fosters grandchildren.
Overall: Dan would do well in a home with older children and a calm environment.
