17001 Goose

Young - Male
Adopted Small House trainedKnows Basic Commands

Here’s what the foster has learned about Little Goose.

Goose is a big cuddle bug.  He’s also a jumper; but I have figured out that he just wants at my face!  I try to sit down with him as quickly as I can when returning home.  I have recovered some chairs in Sunbrella fabric so dogs can get on those.  As soon as I sit on one, he’s in my lap and just wants to cuddle. He has blended with my two Goldens very well in a week.

He walks well on a leash and eats well too.  He is learning to sit on command.  He’s house broken and learned to use the dog door the first day I had him.  I leave him loose in the house with the others when I have to leave the house.  At night, all dogs sleep in my bedroom (door closed) on the floor.  He still jumps up on the bed but we are working on that.

Have met other dogs while we are out walking and he meets them well…no barking – just sniffing!

He would do well in a house with other dogs (don’t know about cats) or if he’s an only dog, then he needs a lot of attention.

Goose is up to date on vaccines, neutered, micro-chipped, about 2 years old, and on monthly heart worm and flea prevention.
