Appearance: Rose is a lover! She is an older girl that looks to be a mix of a lab/golden. She is calm and on the small side – 51lbs. And she has these beautiful soulful eyes.

Health: Rose is a healthy 9 year old girl who looks like 4 according to the vet. She is spayed.

Habits and Training: Rose is quiet but she likes to explore. She is fully house trained. She is good when left alone. She does not bark excessively. Nor is she thunder phobic or afraid of loud noises. She has not shown food or toy aggression. In fact she shows little interest in toys.

Rose is an athlete! She can dig, she can jump and she can travel. She will have to be monitored when in a back yard.

Her foster describe her as super sweet and very affectionate. She will sit for treats and takes the treat gently. Rose would be a perfect companion dog for a man or woman that wants that one dog to love. She loves being with the foster no matter what she is doing. In short, she is a true golden – she wants to be with her human. Her foster says she may be some type of service dog with training.

Children and Other Animals: The foster reports Rose is aloof with the resident dogs and not particularly friendly to other dogs so she should do well as an only dog. She walks well on a leash and likes car rides. She does well in barns with horses.

Special Note: Rose should not be placed in a home with cats.
