Senior - Female
Adopted Large House trainedKnows Basic Commands

Appearance: Bama is a large golden retriever female 9 years old.   She is an owner surrender (they are having to move to a smaller home due to age and limited mobility).

Bama actually had her own cat, a 2yr old neutered male name Cinnamon. They played and slept together.  Cinnamon is an indoor cat and his claws are intact.  Owners asked if it was possible to have her placed with the cat. They were told it was probably not an option but that we would try.  The Owner says the two are inseparable.  However, they did find a home for Cinnamon the Cat.

Health: Bama is up to date on vaccinations, spayed, microchipped and heart worm negative

Habits and Training: She is a gentle, wonderful laid-back senior who loves belly rubs and being a couch potato. She purrs when she gets a belly rub. She tucks her Owners in bed and stays until they are sleep and then she retires to her own bed. Her favorite toys are squeakers. She is house trained and signals when she needs to reliever herself. She graduated from the Beginners Obedience School. She loves car rides. She is mildly thunder phobic. She does not bark often.

Children and Other Animals: She loves children and is gentle with toddlers and her Owner who has to use a walker to get around. She had a cat and gets along with other dogs.
