Don’t let his name kid you — Thrasher is a Good Boy!

This handsome golden mix is full of sweet, friendly energy and personality. Thrasher doesn’t meet a stranger of any age. He has fit in well with his foster’s other dogs of mixed activity levels and sizes. When outside he loves to play with robust; when inside he is well behaved, house trained, and has mastered the use of a doggy door!

Thrasher shows no signs of food aggression, takes treats gently, and doesn’t beg at the table or jump on the furniture. He’s not thrilled about storms or fireworks, so he might want some extra TLC if it gets extra loud. He knows all the basic commands, and in no time he’ll train YOU on the art of the belly rub! He loves car rides, being brushed, and did well as an office dog the one day he accompanied his foster mom to work.

Thrasher is currently about 63 lbs. He could benefit from losing a few of those pounds, but is healthy and up-to-date on all his shots. This active, young 9-yr old will make anyone a GREAT companion and family member. He’s been curious about the cat on the counter but listens when told to ‘Leave it’ so should be ok once acclimated to a feline housemate.

Thrasher is great with kids and other dogs. He’s crate trained and strong so it’s suggested that a capable adult be the one to walk him.
